All children deserve to join in with children their age!

What is ‘Sam& voor alle kinderen’?

‘Sam& voor alle kinderen’ (together for all children) is here to help parents who cannot afford to pay for the costs of sports, birthdays, outings, school supplies, music lessons, swimming lessons, or dance classes! Parents and professionals can submit a request on our website for a wide range of support. This is our way of making sure that all children can join in with children their age, even if money is in short supply at home.

Who is ‘Sam&’ for?

Sam& is here to help all 315,000* children from 0 to 21 years old in the Netherlands who grow up in lower-income families. Parents on low income can contact us, so that their child or children can participate in activities such as sports or can host birthday celebrations.

Who can submit a request?

  • Parents who receive benefits such as a benefit under the Work and Social Assistance Act (bijstand), the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA), or the Unemployment Insurance Act (WW)
  • Working parents on low incomes
  • Self-employed persons with little work or a low income
  • Parents with debts

Submitting an application

The application form on our website is only available in Dutch. If you are a parent and would like to submit your own application for one or more children in your family but cannot speak Dutch, then please contact someone you know who speaks Dutch and can help you do this. You could ask one of your acquaintances or friends, for example. By entering the post code of the address where the child lives, you can start a submission via www.samenvoorallekinderen.nl/ouders/

Submit your application well in advance

The application will be sent to colleagues who work in your town/city and know about all applicable schemes. In about six weeks, your application will be reviewed. You will be contacted for extra information, and we will assess whether you will be awarded the support you applied for.

Need help?

You can also ask an intermediary for help. Examples of intermediaries include teachers, youth welfare workers, debt counsellors, and social workers. If you are already in contact with someone, then please ask them to submit the application for your child or children.
